Energy Management Training
Effective energy management relies on people. Every organisation needs at least one person (or better yet a team of people) to be pro-active about making energy savings. It is vital that the organisation supports those people by providing them the necessary training so that they can help the organisation.

Energy Solutions training
The technical director of Energy Solutions, Rob Bishop, is the premier energy management teacher in New Zealand. For almost three decades he has been training hundreds of appreciative students in the art of energy efficiency.

Energy Solutions has been central to numerous training courses (past and present) around the country. We have a long relationship with Massey University and Victoria University of Wellington. Energy supply companies often provide their clients with the opportunity to attend an Energy Solutions training seminar. The Energy Management Association of New Zealand regularly arranges Energy Solutions' courses for its members.

Courses are primarily targeted at facilities managers or anyone who has a role in the management of energy use in their organisation. They can be either brief presentations, 1-day seminars or up to a 2-week long workshop. The courses can either take a technical or a management focus.

Energy Solutions can provide tailored training packages for individual organisations to suit their requirements.

Who needs training
Every organisation that wants to improve its energy management skills would benefit from Energy Solutions' training. We can give operational staff the technical knowledge they need to pursue energy saving projects. Management staff will get the motivation and guidance needed to implement an effective energy management programme.

Energy efficiency improvements are often made by a few people in the organisation who champion the cause of energy management. Often those champions have already been found; they just need to be supported and encouraged.
